At True Bod Gymnastics, we aim to strengthen connective tissue, increase mobility and condition your entire body, building long, lean muscles, mobile joints and develop strength you never knew you had!

The launch of True Bods will initially offer the following 6 program types, with more programs to be added throughout the year.

Class size is restricted to a 1:10 coach to participant ratio to give you a personalised, small-group training experience. Book yourself into a class by selecting the day and times that suits you best!

You can also download the Truebod app from the App store, which lets you book your classes anywhere and anytime.

 
 

Stretch

Tuesday 7.30pm – 8.30pm

This class focuses on upper and lower body stretching specific to gymnastics. Mobility, strength and flexibility work hand in hand when it comes to gymnastics training and an equal emphasis is placed across these components. This class takes a slower pace to work on increasing mobility in the muscles and joint movement through, static flexibility, active flexibility and PNF stretching. Don’t expect to get your sweat on during this class, but rather expect to move parts of your body that you may not have known existed!

By combining battle ropes, pulleys, and rope climbing, this beginner level class will help you grow muscle, build endurance, and put your metabolism to work.

Foundations

A class to develop your strength in your upper and lower body through gymnastics strength training.  This program caters to absolute beginner though to experienced athletes and will continuously develop your strength, mobility, endurance and flexibility through the training cycle. These foundational exercises are extremely important in order to progressively build our strength and mobility for more complex movements in advanced gymnastics training.

Handstand

Tuesday 6am – 7am

Wednesday 7am – 8am

Our handstand program is designed to improve your inverted body shoulder endurance and strength to advance shoulder mobility. If you want to improve your shoulder strength to be able to hold a handstand for a certain length of time, then this class is for you. We also take great focus on strengthening your core!

 

Conditioning

Monday 7am – 8am

Tuesday 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Friday 6am – 7am

Sunday 10am – 11am

 

This class focuses on building strength in both lower body especially the legs and glutes and upper body. Class operates on a high rep basis which maximises blood flow to the joints and connective tissue. Expect to get your sweat on.

Open Gym

Sunday 7am – 8am & 9am - 10am

A one hour gymnastics program where participants have a structured class for 30 minutes and then its ‘free time’ to work on any particular skills you are looking to improve. 2 coaches dedicated to this program as everyone’s needs vary. Other circuits are developed for those looking to learn a few basic gymnastic skills. Designed for ex-gymnasts or those looking to simply work on the fundamentals of gymnastics.
